FAQ

Is DECK II a plugin?

No. DECK II is a standalone dual-cassette DJ DAW, not a plugin. It gives you two full decks inside its own app with a focused mixer workflow.

Where do I activate my serial?

Activate your serial inside the DECK II app. The website account section is only for viewing active machines and deactivating a license if you no longer have access to that computer.

What happens after I buy?

Your serial is delivered by email after checkout. Open DECK II, enter the serial inside the app, and activate it from there.

What platforms is DECK II available on?

DECK II is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux. iPadOS version is coming soon, with cross-compatible sessions planned.

What is the remote control feature?

The phone remote web app lets you control deck arm, cue points, rec-safe, and transport from another device in a browser.

Is there really no undo?

DECK II is built around commit-first recording. Punch in, capture the take, make decisions, and keep the session moving — like mixing on tape.

Can I use plugins in DECK II?

Yes. DECK II supports modern plugin use on insert and send buses, so you can treat plugins like outboard gear while keeping the cassette-deck feel.

Do you track what I record?

No. Your recordings, sessions, and project data stay on your machine. DECK II does not upload your music or session files to our servers.

Can I move my license to another computer?

Yes. Deactivate an old machine from the account page to free up the license. You get 3 activations per license.

Are updates included?

Yes. Updates are free with your DECK II license. The license is lifetime.

Do I need internet to use DECK II?

Mixing and recording happen locally. You need internet for license activation and checking or downloading updates.
